"The High" is the first single off of Laura Rizzotto's debut EP. The 22 year-old Brazilian singer/songwriter moved to NYC in 2014 in the pursuit of new adventures, as masters degree at Columbia University and an edgier sound inspired by the concrete jungle. NYC provided Laura with the opportunity to grow as an artist and collaborate with many talented songwriters, a step the artist hadn't taken before, as her two first albums are all self-written original work.

"The High" edgier and sexier tune describes the connection and chemistry between two people, who cannot avoid it any longer. The tune is a result of a co-write between Laura and Grammy Award winning songwriter Mike Campbell. It is the first single off of a 4 song EP called "Ruby", to be released in July 2017.
