简介

This album is very defining of the times we are living in. Villain album is packed with great music, witty bars, and emotional thought provoking lyrics. Though this album is very hardcore, you must not only be focused on the beats and aggressive delivery. Sam Mac is taking you on an emotional roller coaster in the particular project. Of course he starts off with his cocky swag in the first song "Feel The Mac', then he goes hardcore with the next few tracks. He later captures all the hustlers ambitions with his "We Hustle Then We Out' song. This shares game to listeners while motivating their grind. It also displays Sam Mac's business mentality. This brings us to "Where You At" which is calling out all so-called self proclaimed "Real" people in the game and daring them to stand up for something. The last verse in "Where You At" calls out fake friends who disappear when needed most. Then Mac throws a curve ball with his sensual and seductive song "Sex With My Ex'. He talks about hooking up with his ex for one more night of passion. Sam Mac brings the party vibe in for the albums title track "Villain". He snaps lyrically over this deep bass filled with bouncy rhythm while he explains his meaning of being a villain which actually is the hero on the other side. Next Mac collaborates with Ishmel Colion 1 half of the Rubberband Clan for "What Happened" where they are taking it back to having a code as a man and standing up for something. The song "To The Top" takes you back the movie "Mack". In this song Sam Mac slips into his Goldie Mack mode where he describes how him and his main chick can go straight to the top if she becomes his teammate instead of his competition. Another curve ball is thrown again by Sam with "What Did I Do". In this song he discusses the issues we have on race dealing with black men in today's society. Asking what did a black man actually do to you for you to hate and fear him is surely going to stir up some things but Mac is blunt and unapologetic about it. This brings us to the end of the album where Sam Mac drops a explosive track, straight attacking all artist who's lyrics are nothing but a bunch of Gibberish. I guess that's why he titled the song "Gibberish". Enjoy this great album which will make you smile, cry, laugh, think, and dance. Villain/Hero On The Other Side!
