Kaylan Mackinnon is a singer-songwriter from Toronto, Canada. Growing up Kaylan always shared a love for the arts but it wasn’t until she was around the age of 8 when she discovered Avril Lavigne, who inspired her to pursue her own dreams of becoming a singer-songwriter. Kaylan started writing music at the age of 15 while on a trip to Barbados with her family and has continued writing original songs ever since. Her YouTube has a growing fan base of over 30,000 supporters. In 2012 Kaylan was nominated for “Best Young Songwriter” in the Toronto Independent Music Awards. Currently, Kaylan is writing and recording music for her next record.
