Classical Pianist Kristhyan Benitez is part of the new generation of Venezuelan musicians who are earning international fame. Born in Caracas, Benitez began his steps toward a musical career at the age of four with Olga Lopez, pupil of the legendary Magda Tagliaferro. Three months later, at the age of five, he played for an audience of 2000 people at one of the most important musical venues in Venezuela; The Teresa Carreño Cultural Complex.
