TEIRA Teira began singing as an unofficial member of the Starlight Sanctuary choir when she was two years old. Now at the age of 13 she is considered by many a gospel sensation. Teira made her official introduction in 2000 at the age of eight with her first concert. By her ninth birthday she had opened for BeBe Winans and has never looked back. In April of 2003, Teira released her first CD entitled "God Made Us All." The same year she was selected as an alternate in the "Gospel Dream," presented by Bishop Paul Morton. That summer she was voted best female soloist" in the KFC National Gospel Showcase. Although a native of California Teira has traveled across the country sharing a message of hope for young and old. She has participated in several national showcases including the Bobby Jones artist showcase (Nashville), the Gospel Heritage Foundation Conference showcase (Atlanta), and the Gospel Superfest V (New York). She has also opened for such notables as Micah Stamply, Karen Clark Sheard, and Dorinda Clark Cole. In April, Teira released her sophomore project entitled "One Touch" which is already getting airplay. When asked what makes this project different from the first she says, "my relationship with God". "Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, ..."(Luke 14:23).
