It has been an enjoyment to study and sing all types of music. This is my first Italian recording. My father was born in Sicily and I have always loved the Italian language. It brought my mother great joy for me to speak and also sing in Italian to her. I particularly liked this translation of the Italian version of Ave Maria: “Lost, my soul turns to you and full of hope it prostrates itself at your feet. It invokes and awaits for the beautiful peace that only You can give it.” It brings peace to my heart when I sing this song.
