Not many people have got a voice with such power and volume as Samora’s. Her music speaks to the heart and makes you feel you can almost touch it. Through her soulful voice and her passion, Samora takes you to the realms of the funk-pop. Samora is music and music is Samora herself. Many people have already had the honor of experiencing this during her performances. She has given concerts throughout The Netherlands on many stages. She has also obtained many awards in the field of music, has won many contests and even had a performance for the Queen. Samora (born Samora Souprayen) was born in Paramaribo, Suriname on June the 5th, 1991. Already as a child she was into music and she always knew that she wanted to go professional. It is no surprise that her music is a reflection of her as a person and a soul. Fire, passion, and groove lie within her and she communicates that to the world through her music. She has studied at the Pop Academy of Amsterdam from 2011 to 2012 and has graduated with flying colors. Beside her career as a singer she is a vocal coach and songwriter. She gives workshops in singing and vocal control as well, but momentarily she focusses on an international cooperative project and her breakthrough in the world of music.
