I wanted to make an album the way that I had always heard them in my head. From bands like Pearl Jam to Train, Sister Hazel to Stephen Kellogg, I wanted a true interpretation of who I was, what I was and where I was at this particular time. I think these songs capture it to the fullest. Daniel Dennis and Jess Ford really honed in on what I was trying to get across and did an amazing job of bringing it to fruition.
