简介
This album took several years to organize and produce. It was recorded at home and with the amazing Peter Wetherbee at his studio. The guest musicians Joey Arcuri (upright bass), Ethan Jodziewicz (upright bass), Claire Byrne (violin), Dana Billings (drum set), Jen Meckler (viola), and Pete Wetherbee (hand percussion/co-producer) really helped bring this album to life. It's another album that has a variety of Americana musical styles on it-- a 40's-style jazz ballad ("Invisible"), a bluegrass/string-band feel featuring cello ("If You Wanna Be Rich" and "Restless Hearts"), a 50's-ish piano-driven rock 'n' roll dance song about computer work ("The Click, Drag Cut & Paste"), some 60's-leaning folk-rock-pop tunes, two traditional songs, and we hoped it wasn't too all over the map. We've played many of the arrangements out at gigs for years; others were totally concocted in studio for the album. Some of the tunes are a little more somber than our last album, but there are some upbeat, whimsical ones too. Our friend Dennis Ryan in Brooklyn, NY did the wonderful cover art, layout/design for the CD packaging, and wait till you see the super-cool photo on the CD itself! Really hope you enjoy it!
