Brooklyn based singer/songwriter Jon Solo released his second LP on November 8, 2011. After extensive touring with Brett Dennen for the last 3 years, in the summer of 2011, Solo went into the Santa Monica studio, and recorded In My View. Each song was composed and tracked within hours. True to his name, Solo wrote and played every instrument, and with the help from his friend John Alagia’s mixes (John Mayer, Dave Mathews, Jason Mraz), out came a delightfully fun, indie/funk/rock album, which makes even the most cynical of critics pay attention. “I wanted the music to incorporate all of my influences.”

The child piano prodigy and guitarist Solo, already clocks in well over 10,000 hours of playing and performing, and is no stranger to the stage. In My View displays his maturity and sophistication as a songwriter yet keeps listeners comfortable with his playful lyrics, haunting chords, and soft touch.
