The Duo Sutre-Kim existed since 1991, founded in Paris by violinist Guillaume Sutre then founding member of the Trio Wanderer and first violinist of the Ysaÿe Quartet and harpist Kyunghee Kim-Sutre, a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Conservatoir Supérieur de la Ville de Paris.

After a 1st Prize at Chamber Music Competition 'Lily Laskine' the Duo performed in Europe, USA and Asia without ever ceasing to explore and expand the repertoire for violin and harp, commissioning new works to French, Korean and American composers.
