My Earnest Desire is a song that was birthed during a period in my life that I found myself struggling with being accepted by others. I tried so hard to fit in, and basically follow suit with what others were doing. But I found that no matter how hard I tried, I still couldn't please people. So I decided simply to "stop trying". Then somewhere around 5 am one morning, these words came to mind. "My Earnest Desire is to please You, Lord have Your way in me"....and thus, My Earnest Desire was birthed. Enjoy.
