简介
The sounds of this album range from tender ballad, to bluegrass hoedown, to road-house rock, to gypsy jam-band. It is wonderfully recorded and shows the maturing abilities of both the musicians involved and their technical ability to capture a truly live recording! What is really impressive, however, is the saturated theme of God’s love for his family, it just overflows in this album, and we are taken on a relationship-celebrating journey as we worship: We sing as people got set free You dream the very best, You dream And then we know, we know … A home is what we make with You You love Your children, yes, You do We are Your house, Your home! Song: Your House, Writer: Aaron Strumpel Sometimes the Psalms help us weave the Scriptures together into a clear theme. The theme of this album is family love and Father God’s family dreams is all over the Bible: “God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.” (Ephesians 1:5) “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me. There is more than enough room in my Father’s home. If this were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you?” (John 14) “Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16) (Tyndale House Publishers. (2013). Holy Bible: New Living Translation.) We think the reason this album is so important is that our culture has prioritized so many things that divide us from one another that it is important to deeply meditate on the things that connect us all together … like God’s affection for all of us. Our invitation to God is a family invitation, inaugurated by a son on behalf of his father, and we are adopted into his family in order to love one another. This is a “love one another” album and we invite you to buy it and use it as a prayer guide for sowing peace and love in the family of God. Additional Notes: Release: 2008 Produced by Ben Pasley.
