We welcome back Black Magic Disco for his highly anticipated second outing on our label. His debut release for us was last years 'Downtown EP' which featured the original mix of 'First Avenue' - here we present you with 5 brand new, super shiny 'First Avenue' remixes. Flipping his original version on it's head, Black Magic Disco gives his own track a complete make over. Gone is the Nu Disco, funk feel of the original and in it's place is a classic house remix concentrating on big organ stabs, a deep bass line and cut up vocals, all set to the back drop of tight, classic house beats. Viper Strike is next in line to take up the remix mantle and brings in the wonderful vocal talents of Patrick Baker to feature on his remix. Viper Strike centres his remix around his love of the early Italian Piano House sound with the bright piano chords taking centre stage, but it's Patrick's vocals that really lift the track to a different level. Next up is Phunktastike, who has done some fantastic remixes for us in the past and this one is no exception. Going down a deeper route this time, Phunktastike shows why he is one of the most versatile artists we have worked with. The penultimate remix comes from the ever impressive Final DJs who inject a catchy 'Acid' style riff into their Nu Disco remix to great effect.
