“Outlaws and Lovers” is another step forward in the evolution of OUR brand of Western Music. Western Music is a panorama of the most evocative and romantic stories ever told. It may fall in and out of vogue, but its themes are always with us, ingrained in our American culture. In this collection of songs from across the decades, we combine the influences of the Grateful Dead, Kingston Trio, Toby Keith, Carole King, Bette Midler and the British rock group Bad Company with our old saddle pals Roy Rogers and Gene Autry along for the ride. Our own Stu Stuart and Jim Farrell also get their pens out for this album. We continue to explore the boundaries of Western music, as a band we feel it is our mission to stretch those boundaries by looking for western influences in contemporary music as well as creating our own.
