There are the desires of our flesh colliding with the desires of The Holy Spirit and who wins the battle is determined by who commands the moment by moment decisions we make. We are reminded that our Battle is not against flesh and blood but against the powers of this dark world system. Think about it, who goes to battle without being dressed for the battle? Therefore we must dress our minds with pure thoughts, thoughts that bring Glory to God, we must dress our hearts with truth and an obedient affection for Christ Jesus, we must dress our souls to express authentic Praise, And we must use all our energy and strength to [abide of the vine] of truth as the Holy Spirit expresses in and through us the very Character of God.
