简介
Los Angeles multi-instrumentalist & record producer Radley Lane, released "Killed to Death", his first EP under the moniker "Dirty Hollywood" on March 22, 2016. Written and recorded in Radley’s Hollywood apartment, overdubs done at Conway Recording Studios, then finished up with Christian James-Hand (The Mowgli's, Alexa Melo, Meiko, The Blood Arm) at Mid-Bronx Recording, "Killed to Death" is a loud, fun, boisterous, 20 minutes of rowdy radio rock. Hefty guitars, burly drums, and resounding hooks you can hang you hat on. After earning a bachelor's degree in percussion from the Cal State Long Beach, studying the native rhythms in Bahia, Brazil and drumming for major label artists like Ryan Leslie and J*Davey, Radley picked up a guitar walked to the front of the stage, stepped on a distortion pedal and Dirty Hollywood was born. Although most of the instruments were played by Radley, for additional badassery He recruited Mowgli’s founder Michael Vincze for additional guitar, The Jane Doe’s frontman Andy Tubman for more synths and back ground vocals, Grammy nominated John Armstrong to play bass on a few tracks, Marc Aliana for guitar solo’s, and Terah Gilberton for additional drums. The anthemic first single "Stay Up All Night" invokes the freedom of being young and restless with the fortitude of making reckless decisions. Accompanied by a quirky animated lyric video featuring an intergalactic bear partying with a unicorn and a cat, it is more than worth the 5 mins of your life. Check it out on YouTube. Dirty Hollywood has been featured on “Front of House” with Mike Dawson (The Adam Carolla Show) "Man vs. Radio" with Christian Hand (The Sound 100.3 LA). Dirty Hollywood has opened for bands like The Mowgli's, Alexa Melo, Open Hand, MRK, had an early demo played as "Catch of the Day" on KROQ, has performed at SXSW, the Sundance Film festival and top musical influences include Arctic Monkeys, Muse, and Royal Blood.
