Lindsay Boreing was born and raised in Lubbock Texas (known as a breeding ground for music and for giving birth to music legends Buddy Holly, Mac Davis, and Natalie Maines of the Dixie Chicks). She grew up singing around Texas with her two sisters starting at the age of 13. On the road singing pop, rock, and country, she developed her unique sound and love for performing. With influences ranging from Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin), Ann Wilson (Heart), to The Dresden Dolls, Fiona Apple, and Etta James, her sound is eclectic and well-rounded. The Aussie rock under-current that exists within her music comes from her father (an import from Melbourne, Australia). "When I was little, my dad would drive around listening to Billy Thorpe, Zeppelin, and AC/DC with me, and would have me tapping the beats to the music on his console. I've heard him say that he bonded with my two sisters and myself through music since he didn't know what to talk about with three little girls!" Lindsay was quoted saying.
