I've always been known for writing strictly Jazz compositions but this album of tunes I wrote allows me to show all the other music that rattles around in my head. Living in Huntington Beach California, I see the beauty of the ocean and Catalina Island and some of the most beautiful surroundings anywhere. Living here one can't help but hear music all the time. It's in the wind, its at the beach, it's on Main Street and it's pretty much everywhere. There are tunes here that speak to my love of trains and trips to Catalina Island, the ocean and days of getting up early and looking at the beautiful skies and weather here. I see music here, the creating of pictures in music. So, this is my little chance to have it heard. Tom Kubis
