Jonah James is a solo artist interested in gaining a listening audience while maintaining a unique artistic integrity. Disgruntled with current state of 'pop' music, Jonah set out to do something about it - a sentiment echoed in the single 'Get it On'. 'Hearts and Trains' is an affront to the image based, corporate driven music that unfortunately dominates our marketplace. 'Hearts and Trains' challenges the listener to do more than simply be passively entertained. The album is lyrically layered. Is he talking about a woman? Or, perhaps there is something else/more here... it's up to you to decide what that is. Although the songs are challenging, they are easily accessible and versatile, with great 'hooks' and compelling beats.
