Priestly is a Worship Leader at Bishop Tudor Bismark’s Jabula New Life Covenant Church Zimbabwe and is a member of the Multi Grammy Award Winning Artist & Group Israel Houghton and New Breed [New Breed Africa United]. Early Life. From Harare Glen View 7 7th Circle, Zimbabwe, Priestly grew up with siblings Vivlyn Nengere, Prince Nengere, Sinikiwe Nengere & Alvin Nengere with Mum & Dad, Mr Nasson Charles & Juliet Nengere who credit and ignited the love & passion for music at an early age. “I recall my Mum & Dad waltz dancing in the lounge to country music and they taught me how to take care of Vinyl Records and later how to operate the Radio. I loved our Radio more than television”. Priestly began singing at the age of [4] four, and writing his first song at [8] eight. At [11] eleven years old with the help and guidance of his elder sister Vivlyn Nengere who is a blue print and inspiration of his worship leading style, Priestly started leading worship in Archbishop Ezekiel Guti’s ZAOGA FIF at a Glen View 7 Assembly which was attended in a Garage from 1994-1999. Going the Worship Leaders ladder was not easy but was worth it and it led to a notable place on the local music scene. In 2000 with the blessing of his ZAOGA [FIF] leaders, Pastor Lawerance Vheremu & Evangelist Kasingakore, Priestly moved and joined Bishop Tudor Bismark’s Jabula New Life Covenant with Choir Director Pastor Conrad Leher. Bishop Tudor’s leadership style and Pastor Conrad’s music style would add and shape his career and lifestyle. Career. In 2002 Priestly became a backing vocal and started national road travels with singers Pastor Stanley Gwanzura & Pastor Prince Mafukidze at their hands he learnt the basic tutelage of Christian Music. Later in 2003 he would see himself record his First Album “I Can Hear Your Voice” with New Life Covenant Music Label Jabula Music which introduced him on the local music scene with much reception. He then joined the music group under Mr Brian Kagoro AFROW “African Rythms Of Worship” as Soloist/Songwriter/Arranger. In 2004 Priestly would meet Israel Houghton and the journey began, in 2010 he officially joined Israel Houghton & New Breed. Production Priestly has served as worship leader for New Life Covenant Church for 10years and still faithfully serves under Bishop Tudor Bismark, as well he doing Concert Perforamces &Conference Ministrations as a Worship Leader or Recording Artist. He has performed at “The Experience Lagos” with Israel Houghton & New Breed which seats 700.000+ audience in Concert celebrating Gospel music in worship, alongside the likes of Micah Stampley. Don Moen, Deitrick Haddon, Chavelle Franklin and Fred Hammond and part of the Israel Houghton New Breed Africa United Tour Johannesburg & Durban South Africa, Accra Ghana, Lagos Nigeria and Port Harcourt. Priestly also featured with Zimpraise on their 2008 Album “Zimpraise Volume II” recorded in Harare, Zimbabwe, as well with Takesure Ncube on his 2013 Album, "Worship Addicts IV", recorded in Harare Zimbabwe and as backing vocalist on the New Breed Africa United 2014 Album “Identity” recorded in Johannesburg, South Africa with featured song on the Movie “ I Am In Love With A Church Girl”.
