KONG. is the musical expression of Justin Joyce. It's comprised of upright bass, horns, drums, organ and vocal loops turned synth pads, all tied together by the guttural nature of Justin's voice. It is heavily organic, but contains simply designed, analog style sound-scapes and entrenches the listener in a mesmerizing ocean of deep, blue soulful chant-like hooks. With lyrics of a dark nature, wrapped elegantly in a message of hope, Justin has put together a collection of songs that are so honest it's nearly explicit.
