Len Muller hails from Richardbay where he was the lead singer of the rock band ‘Die Foute’. He has subsequently moved to Pretoria to kickstart his career in music and not before long he released his first single titled ‘Smag na jou’. The song was received very well at radio, reaching the 3rd spot on Groot FM’s Top 20 chart. The song also featured in the successful film ‘Strikdas’ as premiered in March 2015. Len has performed with the likes of Joshua na die Reën, Bouwer Bosch, Deon Meiring, Retief Burger, Dan Patlansky and Kaleidoskoop in his very short career thusfar. Len sees himself primarily as a songwriter whilst he loves to perform live. Len’s greatest success to date was his appearance on kykNET’s Afrivisie songwriting competition reaching the top 10 with the song ‘Iets om in te glo’, receiving fantastic feedback from Frits Klaaste (RSG) and Anna Davel. Len performed the song on live television on Sunday the 3rd of May with overwhelming response. The song also features on the album and is currently on high rotation at most Afrikaans radio stations in South Africa. Len’s first studio album was nominated for both Ghoema and Huisgenoot Tempo awards in the best Afrikaans Contemporary category in 2015. Len releases his much anticipated 2nd studio album in 2017.
