On their third single, Intercity 106 exchange their signature TR606 drum machine for a TR909. With a solid groove, very catchy melody and thumping 909 kick, ‘Runaway’ is set to be a summer anthem. The track feels more uplifting, almost happy and carefree in a way, but still from the same nostalgic soil as the other tracks. It all comes down to the vocal part: “Runaway to nowhere, before the night is over.” Escapism at its finest.
