简介
Local forester Mike Mauri describes Pitchfork's music as "Chestnut Hill groove", a unique blend of cutting-edge New-England sugar-shack Americana, mysterious wigwam manifestos, and foot-stomping radical anarcho-lounge chilltones. Let's just say that if every New England hilltop had a band like this, we'd be well on our way to a new revolution!" Now imagine adding starkly poetic narraives of past and present to that. Wow! Now buckle up for the ride. Recorded @ Lil Shack Records, proprietor Mark Herschler, winter 2012 Northampton MA; engineered and mixed by Dan Richardson. Played by drummer J.J. Humphrey, bassist Brian Rodrix, guitarist Tom Ricard, trombonist J. Starpoli, with Kevin Smith on tuba. Poetry and voice by Mike Mauri; songs, guitar, and harmonica by Rob Skelton.
