The Spark: After returning stateside from her performances at the 23rd annual High Times Cannabis Cup in the Netherlands with a handful of tracks overseas composers had given her. Sahra contacted co-producer Digikal Roots(UK) and together over Skype they conversed and decided there was enough solid material to create the Tru I album.

The Fire: In true Bush Mama tradition, the Tru I album was recorded in sustainable-living studios- where engineers are living off-grid, while growing an abundance of fruit trees and organic gardens, collecting catchment water from rainfall and using solar panels to power their house & studio.

The Smoke: The Tru I album is a Heartical endeavor produced for love and by love -not money! Tru I stands up for truth & rights through its Rootical Sound Power, the Tru I album is Livicated to all past, present & future freedom fighter throught Jah Creation.
