Musically,there is almost nothing Kenny Ford cannot do. As an acclaimed keyboard player in his hometown by age 12,Kenny has evolved into a multifaceted artist and producer. Kenny is a graduate of the Settlement School of Music and the Granoff School of Music in Philadelphia, Penn. where he studied classical piano, pipe organ, violin and music theory and harmony. After touring the East Coast with his own jazz group,The K. Wesley Ford Jazz Ensemble and also being Minister of Music of several large churches in the Philadelphia area, Kenny decided to head West to Los Angeles Ca. to which he broaden his horizons.Soon after, he attended the acclaimed Dick Grove School of Music where he studied Electronic Music, Recording Engineering, Jazz Keyboard, Jazz Music Theory and Harmony , Jazz Choral Technique, Music Scoring & Orchestration. Kenny toured with the late Rev. James Cleveland as his lead keyboardist and also worked with Andre Crouch on his Grammy award-winning album (No Time To Lose) doing musical arrangements and playing keyboards. The respect for Kenny's talent is demanded and requested by top music artists.Darryl Coley requested him to do synthesizer programming for record producer Walter Hawkins on his album "Just Darryl".Jennifer Holliday used his talent as her keyboardist on tour through the United States and Scandinavia.He has also accompanied other great artist such as Linda Hopkins, Jamie Foxx, In Living Color, J Anthony Brown,The Fords/Tyscot Records, Tamia, The Tonite Show,Marvin Hamlisch, Sly Stone, Rose Stone, Dyan Cannon and many others to numerous to mention.
