Songwriter Conni Blomberg and lyricist Foyne Mahaffey have been known for their political and social satire after years of performing in Milwaukee. Although their live performances were wacky, within them laid songs of great depth and tenderness. These ballads have been recorded in "Something Like A Star" a collection of eclectic pieces with thoughtful and sensitive vocals and instrumentation. The sound is reminiscent of early collaberations of Elton John and Bernie Taupin with a strong feminine perspective.
