This recording of Franz Schubert's Ave Maria is my tribute to my Father, Dan Provost, and his long time friend and business partner Perry Como, for Christmas 2015. I recall as a boy of about six years old singing Christmas carols and playing piano at a local recital in the town where I grew up, Madison, New Jersey. That was the beginning of my love of music. Later, at about ten years old, I remember my Father taking me into a studio in New York City. It was there that my Father and Perry Como began their work together as promoter and performer. My Father was a legendary promoter of Ronald Reagan, Arthur Godfrey and a long list of celebrities in the 1950's, 60's and 70's. Every year, he produced a Spring musical extravaganza in the Eddie Cameron Stadium at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, with Perry Como as the main feature. A few memorable occasions of my musical career were performing as singer and guitarist, touring in New Hampshire with John M., (singer, guitarist and song writer) in 2000 and 2001, recording one of John M's songs, 'Colors Of The Season', in 2004 and singing Ave Maria solo at St. John's Church in Stamford, CT. in 2008. None of this would have been possible without the help of and my deep relationship with The Lord Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas and may God Bless.
