My introduction to the performing arts world was as a classically trained pianist and cellist. Over the years, I have experimented and performed with artists representing a wide range of genres and styles. On my debut album, "All About Bach", I'm revisiting my classical roots through the performance of works by one of my favorite composers for piano and cello. I've always been intrigued by Bach's artful use of ornamentation throughout his music which are little pieces of unexpected candy for the ears. You'll hear these trills, turns and mordents in various spots in both the piano and cello selections. The album starts off on a lighter note with some short piano preludes and ends with the very popular Suite I movements for solo cello. The transition piece between these two sections is the Adagio from The Toccata which was originally written for organ. This piece is a piano/cello duet featuring myself on both parts. I really do hope that you enjoy this collection of pieces! All of the recording and mixing work was done at my personal studio with mastering done by Glenn Schick Mastering. I would like to say thank you to my friend Jarrel Cupid who is an awesome producer/audio engineer. He has taught me so much about the recording process and LogicPro. This album is dedicated to my wonderfully supportive family. They have been my biggest cheerleaders from day one and have encouraged me to fulfill my destiny without fear during my time here on Earth. As a musician, the work that I do is a labor of love that doesn't always have a tangible or monetary return. I have taken many paths and detours in my life that have ultimately led me back to what it is that I was put here to do........Create Music. My story is one of evolution as I have progressed from just playing music, to writing music and then to learning the artistry of recording music. Please stay tuned for my future releases!
