VOX 'N JACKS are Antwerp based producers Bart Callaerts, Achiel Keppens and Jack 'JDSub' Daniels.Their musical history is one of many different paths. The people who remixed this new EP like Graeme Park, the legendary resident of the Manchester Hacienda club, Belgian dub step producers King Astma (Ultragore Recordings, 2 Much Bass Records, MTC Records, Stupid Fly Records, Wipe Me Down Records) and Dutch upcoming producers Huelsken & Heuvel (Modern Playground) re-shaped the original Lack of Love track into a new masterpiece ! Nice detail: VOX 'N JACKS used a sample of the 1988 classic house track "The Lack of Love" by Charles B & Adonis (aka 'The Acid Budda'), pioneer of the Chicago house scene. Adonis himself states: 'VOX 'N JACKS new EP is a welcome addition to the original masterpiece". ' The story of DJ Graeme Park really mirrors the story of the evolution of dance music and club culture itself. His reputation as a house pioneer brought him to the attention of Mike Pickering at the Hacienda in Manchester, who asked him to cover for him whilst he went on holiday in 1988. The Summer of Love followed, and Parky quickly became one of the biggest names on the emerging dance scene. Statement of Graeme Park : "Vox & Jacks contacted me back in 2010 to ask me if I'd like to come and DJ with them in Belgium. I jumped at the chance and had a superb weekend (...). It was clear to me that these guys knew their house music so when they approached me to remix their "Lack Of Love" I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. The resulting Yellow & Black Remix, which I created with my Yellow & Black Project partner Paul Birchall, has been a feature of my club sets for months as well as appearing several times on my weekly syndicated radio show which airs around the world.
