This is the first outing for Bristol based DJ MIXJAH, and what better way to do it than by launching his own label MASTERPEACE RECORDINGS. A platform, which will showcase not only his music but also his own unique style of abstract graffiti art. This package includes a D&B stepper called Blaze The Fire which is a cert to get any dancefloor bubbling. The original mix of Tell Me Why, which is a bouncy groover of a track, weighing in at 130 bpm and repping the UK Garage sound. The hugely talented K-Jah steps up on remix duties for this one and gives it a full overhaul, turning it into another D&B stepper with a bassline to die for. Then last but by no means least, the legend that is DJ Dazee, queen of the jungle and Ruffneck Ting head honcho, provides an absolute killer of a remix of a tune called Boom. This can only be described as an awesome debut release for Mixjah and Masterpeace Recordings and with plenty more superb tracks up his sleeve, the future looks very promising!
