简介
Doing That Audio is brought to you by Off The Cuff (AKA Karl Frampton) whose discography includes remixes for artists such as Maxi Jazz (Faithless), Bill Withers 'Lovely Day' and South Africa's Bang Bang, alongside solid releases of original tracks on labels such as Soulfuric Recordings, Defected In The House, Lost my Dog, Silocassa, Real Basic and a string of Open Bar Music compilation albums. He also boasts a six-week number one slot on Traxsource in 2006 with his track 'Shake'. DJ sets have seen him play at Pacha Ibiza, Hype The Funk festival in Estonia and has been the headliner at the 2009/2010/2011/2012 Janga Rip Curl Pro Search/ASP World Tour beach parties in Peniche, Lisbon, Portugal. Karl was also the brainchild and resident of the legendary Dusted Parties at the Purple Onion in Middlesbrough where he was resident for 10 years. The many DJ's he has played alongside include Steve Lawler, PBR Street Gang, Denney (Hot Creations, Viva music), Dirty South, Eric Morillo, Louis Osbourne, Adam Shaw (Toolroom Records) and Buckley to name just a few. Doing That Audio is a floor flooder. The bassline hits you in the gut to get you moving. Pan-American vocals from Miami rap sensation and Pro-Basketball player Cojack, guide you on a transatlantic journey through house music and solid electronic sounds. The percussion is almost Salsa-like yet staying true to Tech. As the audio progresses, frequencies rise before that monster kick and bass bring you back down to Terra Firma! Remixes include fellow label-mate Red Star Arcade, whose mix is a little more laid back perhaps more suited to the sun rising but more than capable of keeping the night going! Strings get messy amongst xylo-synths and echos of snares. Guest remixer on this release is Gow who is resident of the infamous Zoo Project in Ibiza and closer to home at the very well respected underground night *riffraff. His mix is certainly a scene setter for dark dance floors and serious clubbers. Percussive sounds and transients scatter the spectrum.
