简介
Towards the end of 2006 Antonio Monllor also known as ‘Towie’ had been through a very influential stage of his life. It was around that point that the digital age was taking off and music was becoming much more accessible to the majority of the world, thus the idea came of creating a way to releasing his own music, via his own label, something which today, has become somewhat of a hobby for most young producers, but with this inaugural release No Dough was setting out to be much more than a record label. That aside he had a bunch of tracks which he had written not long after a terrible accident , which ultimately became the launch of ‘No Dough’. Originally the ‘Falling from windmills’ release consisted of two tracks, ‘Sirens’ and ‘On the Juice’, but shortly after that official release Axel Bartsch from the Kompakt family heard ‘On the Juice’ and asked Towie if he was interested in releasing it on his own Sportclub Imprint. Naturally he agreed, and the track was pressed to vinyl as part of the ‘Funf Gegen Willy’ Various artists E.P. Sirens still remains on the release as the keystone to the labels growth, a rolling tech-house monster.
