Being from Flint, Michigan and understanding how to articulate the art of sound to touch not only the people i love and care for, but also the people i've never met. Seeing people like Eminem, Jon Connor , Big Sean, like these people really are from my city ! they know my story ! They know like Cartoon Network is on channel 42 *laughs like its real ! But to see people like that in the limelight like its just amazing. But i saw that and always said "yo that's what i wanna do" But when i got to see the things they had to go through just for them to get there art to be perceived as great on a big scale it inspired me more to even push forth and do it. I just want to do my art but have not have to go through any filters or a middle man like i don't want my manager to tell me "hey you're going to do it like this" I don't want any label in my ear sayin' "hey you gotta have this many radio singles out before your album" "I want you to look like this" I want to display my art and have the real music lovers, the people that dictate the culture to be like "hey that was tight" or whatever. And that's where I'm taking the vibe for my project "The Title Is Deceving". It's weird, it's green, it makes you remember moments in your life. It makes you embrace your inner self. It's me. "Pink Nesquik" is a single off of the tape that is just a mere piece of that so.. I hope you get it.
