About the artists: Jenni Olson is an active orchestral and chamber music performer in the Los Angeles area. She is currently principal flute with the Stockton Symphony and second flute with the Long Beach Symphony and Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra. As a freelance musician, Jenni has performed with prestigious groups such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Opera and Pacific Symphony. As a recording artist Jenni can be heard on recent soundtracks such as Monsters Inc 2, The Lorax and Planes. Jenni received her BA from California State University, Stanislaus where she studied with Caryl Mae Scott and received her MM and DMA from University of Southern California where she studied with Jim Walker. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Alison *****eda is a freelance harpist who teaches and performs in the Los Angeles area. She is a member of Southwest Chamber Music, Golden State Pops Orchestra and MUSE/IQUE. She has performed with the San Diego Symphony, Pasadena Symphony/Pops Orchestra, Long Beach Symphony and Long Beach Opera. She has been a soloist with the UCSD Palimpsest Ensemble and the Downey Symphony Orchestra.  Named "excellent player" and "enterprising young harpist" by the Los Angeles Times, Alison's notable chamber music performances include the world premieres of William Kraft's Encounters XII for harp and percussion; Anne LeBaron's HSING for solo harp; and Wadada Leo Smith's Ten Freedom Summers, a 2013 Pulitzer Prize finalist. ​ Alison earned her Masters and Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in harp performance from the USC Thornton School of Music, where she studied with JoAnn Turovsky.
