Right on the heals of the highly acclaimed 'I Like It' Phunky Rabbit Records brings you another Wendy Jane Satchell monster. This time she teams up with Ministry of Sound DJ Gareth (Saint George) Williams for a mainroom banger, 'Stars'. Saint George provides a Progressive House backdrop for Wendys' vocal. Gareth uses his main room DJ skills to the max here to provide what he knows works best on the dancefloor. The track picks you up with massive rises and then drops right back down again for quick chill out phases. Wendy asks you to take her to the stars and the production is happy to please. On the remixes we go right down a gear into Soulful House mode. First off we have another main DJ Tim Wright with his Secret Soul outfit. Tim has not produced for a while as he has concentrated on his djing career around Manchester. We are so glad we got him back on production duties for this Soulful remix of the track. Tim uses cool Rhodes grooves to drive the track on and it fits so well with Wendys vocal. We are loving the vibes on his version and he uses two well timed drops to give you a break. Next we have Phunky Rabbits own Placidic Dream remix. Keeping the soulful theme going again Malc East twists wendys vocal around a strong bassline and synth stabs for a cool poolside feel. Next we have the Groove Motion Remix. Groove Motion consists of Wayne Altham and Jack Henwood. Here the guys give us a real soulful feel using their solid production technique. Just when you think they are all done we are treated to a strong sax solo by Joe Green. Finally and by no means least we go right up the gears for another Progressive House main room smasher from Yohann Levems. The production on this is outstanding and we are sure it will be featured in many main venues worldwide.
