Anders Bakke grew up on Tysnes, an island south of Bergen, Norway. He was born in 1963. He started to play the guitar and sing when he was15 years old. Later he also began playing the piano. He joined a band 19 years old, called Teknisk feil. At this time he started to make his own music but wrote only a few songs and then gave it up. But more than ten years later suddenly he found his own voice and started to create a lot of songs. Until now he has written more than 60 songs, sometimes together with other composers. He has played his music for a lot of people ether alone, or together with other musicians. In 2010 he finally went to a studio and recorded his first album which contains 15 of his most popular songs. The album is called Dag for Dag. Anders Bakke is influenced by country, jazz, blues and rock`n roll. But most of all he has his roots in the norwegian and nordic folk and pop music tradition. Artists who write and sing in their own language.
