The world's first glimpse of Dawone's potential as an artist was seen in the video for his debut single "Moving Forward" which was selected to be placed on the MTV network, accompanied with a licensing deal for a small collection of music performed by Dawone. With additional licensing deals to follow you may have heard his music playing in your favorite Starbuck's, 24HR Fitness centers, Footactions, and many other department stores across the nation. This would cause a snowball effect which lead to placements on TV shows such as NBC's "Friday Night Lights" and teh highly successful franchise film "National Lampoon's: Dorm Daze2".
