Cool Cat is a pop/rock/soul band funded in 2004 by multi instrumentalist Alex Bielli, singer and pianist Matteo Toia. Their first record named “No Regrets/You Got A Chance” was released in 2005. In 2007 they welcomed new drummer Gaia Girolami and reissue their single record. Gaia gave the band new energy as shown from the many gigs of that time. 2010 was the year of their first Italian album “Una Come Te” as an experiment of layering in the studios and trying different music styles. An important step in Cool Cat history was the meeting of ASCAP award-winning and Grammy nominated artist Lisa Stansfield who game them new enthusiasm and with the release of the new single “Wipe My Tears Away” in 2013 they peaked for the first time 1.000 copies sold for a single record.
