Blazing furnace, it’s the best way to describe the unfettered energy and style of Dancehall/Reggae artist Fireness Intense, birth name Mark Henry. Born and raised in Kingston 20, Jamaica in1987 at Jubilee Hospital. He attended George Headley Primary School and later Wolmer’s Boys School up until 9th Grade and later finished At St.George’s College. He had been introduced to singing and deejaying early in his childhood by his father who was an upcoming music producer during early 2000, along with one of his older cousin’s and a dear friend who also sings and deejay at the time. Fireness started out by performing cover songs at his primary school events. After leaving primary school the love of music only increased. In high school he began to write his own songs and created his own artist name “Katanga”.
