简介

Fisty Cuffs, given name Frank ******, was born on January 1st, 19**. As the son of a Naval officer, he was immune to moving around the country frequently, Frank adapted to traveling at a young age. By his teen years he had lived in ten different states and seen most of the US. At the age of 16, his father retired from the military and his family settled down in Maysville, Kentucky. During this time, Frank had taken interest in playing the guitar and joined with some local friends to form a rock group. However, this experience was short lived due to the bands break up after they played their first concert where Frank was arrested for participating in a fight outside the venue. Because of this incident and many others like it throughout his young life, Frank’s friends gave him the nickname of “Fisty Cuffs,” a name generally affiliated with boxing. Upon turning 18, Fisty Cuffs was quickly put out of his home. He would spend the next six months finishing up high school while secretly living out of his car. It was during this time he started to focus on writing music and developing his skills as a rap artist. Before graduation of high school, Cuffs teamed up with two of his schoolmates and started the rap group Project Ghetto Creep (PGC). Financially unstable, located in a rural area, and very inexperienced in the music business, PGC was off to a slow start. It wasn’t until two years later when Fisty Cuffs was comfortably working a third shift job that the group was able to release their debut album. On April 16th 2002 PGC released 106 Blood Moons and completely took their home town by surprise. With a new sound to the streets of Maysville, CD sales sky-rocketed and PGC shattered every record for album sales in their local store On-Cue. It wasn’t long after, that the group would expand their fan base to neighbor cities and start getting gig offers in other states. With profits coming in, Fisty Cuffs took PGC to the next level and built a street team expanding the group’s name nationwide. Fame was within their grasps, but would come at a dreadful price. PGC’s youngest member Mini Macc, became egotistical and was later asked to leave the group. Within three months a new album was made and released by remaining members and shows went on. PGC now consisted of its final members Fisty Cuffs and Wet Nap. The two grew strong as a duet and performed to audiences across the nation until the party lifestyle took hold of Wet Nap and an addiction to drugs began. For the next few years Wet Nap would struggle with his addiction, slowly losing the battle as it grew worse. In 2007 Wet Nap was arrested on drug charges, found guilty by the court, and sentenced to seven years in prison. Fisty Cuffs was now on his own as a rap artist but gave his word to his brother in music to keep the group’s name alive until Nap was set free, and that is exactly what Cuffs did. In 2010 Wet Nap was granted parole and PGC immediately started back where they had left off. Unfortunately, the loss of two years of Wet Nap’s life did not deliver the lesson the court had intended and Nap fell right back into drug addiction; only this time losing focus completely on PGC’s music career. Nearing a new year, Fisty Cuffs made the tough decision to end the last ten years of his life’s work and bring Project Ghetto Creep to an end. Today, Fisty Cuffs continues to work toward his career in the music industry. Now as a solo artist, and with 14 years of experience in the rap genre, Cuffs is taking his knowledge and building on it with the aid of college as he pursues a degree in Business. With the release of his new album West Bound East, he hopes to find a more stable home in the industry by working with and/or signing to a more established label or group of artists. Fisty Cuffs will be working hard to achieve this goal starting with nationwide touring and promotions.
