King Mutapa makes his debut on Selville Records and he has cooked up his own unique musical world of Rhodes-heavy, funky, jazz-infused, deep, dusty vibes. He has released on Lisztomania Records, Open Sounds, and Moment Cinetique alongside Last Nubian and Jehan. Excellent opener ‘Intro_KgoAmo’ is a loose and live jazz fusion sounding jam leading us to the head-nodding ‘Funky Bump’ and closing off with the feel-good galactic ‘The Sun God’ with a grooving bassline sinking you deep into the natural high.
