Releasing his first EP with North London based MFR Records, up and coming producer Harry Ley provides a solid five track EP entitled HOUSE as his debut release. Opening the EP with the self-entitled track House, the 17 year old producer opts for basic drum patterns and typical crescendos, providing a deep yet simplified introduction to his capabilities as a producer. Overdose welcomes Ley’s creativity, providing some muggy screwed up vocal samples and an overindulge in tingling hi hats. Skipping midway through the EP, Underground makes way for some highly energetic bass, spacey drops and punchy drum patterns taking you to the highest level of excitement whilst listening to this EP thus far. Strobe is a profound and mystical addition to the 35minute long EP, with some fun, choppy lyrics added in, it is easily one of the more catchy tracks on the EP. Ending the EP with the fiery Ectasy and providing listeners with some bubbly synths, warped vocals and a shallow bassline, this last track from the Essex producer will sound great at any beach party this summer.
