This is a song that we wrote when we were writing the score for the documentary called "North Pole Promise: about the lives of Admiral Robert E. Peary, and his associate Matthew Henson. The song organically grew out of the story one day even though there was never any intention to have a vocal song. The theme was used in different parts of the score and then the song was used for the end credits. We went on to finish the song for ourselves and shot a music video for it with a band performance as well as on a sailboat at sea.
