Daydream at Night is the debut EP from Cam & Sound, mixing sounds and inspiration from all over in a fusion of alternative hip-hop... Cam & Sound began in a dive bar in West Haven, CT where Cam Nichols and Adam Chambers embarked on a mission to create a different kind of hip-hop. Fed up with the clichés of the scene and the state of the modern world, they wanted to take inspiration from a variety of genres, mix things up, and take hip-hop back to its origins. Nichols is deep and questioning in this debut EP, a sharp narration of popular culture set to the sound of Chambers' experimental beats blending ambient trip-hop, jazz fusion, gypsy swing, and good old fashioned raw hip-hop.
