Michelle Amador’s rich vocals and insightful lyrics on her Higher album are a strong follow-up to her critically noted single from the album, Because of You, produced by Zed Bias. Michelle first met Bias when she participated in the Red Bull Music Academy in Rome, Italy, a symposium now famous for bringing together top global talent. It was there that Michelle and Zed conceived the idea for the Higher album which was cut in Bias’s Manchester studios and features performances by a host of incredible musicians: Tony Bowry & Om’ Mas Keith (bass), Pete Whitfield (strings), Graeme Blevins (synth, sax, flute), Peter Wraight (horns), Sefton Mottley (drum programming & co-production on select tracks), Tim Bulkley (live drums), Dave Connally (synth), and guest vocals by Mr. J and Fyza.
