简介
“It is a mixture of R&B Soul, Hip Hop and Smooth Jazz Just beautifully and well done musical work of art.” Sherri Amore-Jackson ( Spoken Vizions Magazine) The musical journey of K.H.X. (Kevin Harrington Xperiment) spans across multiple genres of music in collaboration with an array of artists from jazz (the late Stanley Turrentine, Special EFX) to Rock Funk (Nona Hendrix formerly of Labelle) R&B Soul (Chico Debarge ,Force MDs) African & Caribbean ( Aster Aweke, Calypso Rose) and many others. His extraordinary talent as a drummer is matched by his extensive knowledge of the industry and his songwriting and production abilities. Stepping into key roles such as Musical Director (Freddie Jackson) and Associate Music Director (Harlem Gospel Singers), K.H.X. built a solid reputation and platform. For his first solo project "Bass Rhodes and Groove" Vol 1 with executive producer and fiancee Nancy Marie (whom the 1st single is named after), he has written and produced an eclectic blend of music. "For the Bass Rhodes & Groove project, I didn't want to lock my self into a genre. I did what i was feeling at the time. All the Bass Rhodes & Groove volumes will be eclectic; it represents my love for all styles of music- Jazz, Neo Soul, Gospel, Funk, Hip hop, House and many others. The project cover represents the house where I grew up in Jamaica Queens, NY where my musically journey to all the music I love began." K.H.X. has shot and produced videos, jingles and theme songs along with partner Nancy Marie and is currently writing and producing for artists across different genres. With a rapidly growing brand and expansive network, K.H.X. has built an affinity with musicians and artists and is becoming a well known and much sought after producer. I would like to thank God for blessing me with his gift of music. To all who made this possible: Nancy Marie for her support, vision and making this happen (Executive Producer). For being a beautiful person and incredible partner; love you. Mom & Dad, my kids Natima and Kevin, all my G-kids, siblings and entire family. Chill, you were there from the beginning. Thanks Fern for the K.H.X. idea and constant push. Special thanks to TOMI, Roy Richardson, Brent Carter and Nancy Marie for a wonderful job. Thanks to all my musician friends (too many to mention, you know who you are), all the families from 154th St., and the 154th St. crew. This project is dedicated in memory of my daughter Katrina Ilene Bradley, my sister Joyce Godfrey (my biggest cheerleader), my aunt Carrie Lewis who always told me I would do big things, and all my family and friends who have crossed over.
