Ikaika Blackburn is a musicians’ musician and an entertainers’ entertainer. Gifted with a beautiful voice and an impeccable ear for music, this young, yet very seasoned talent brings a delight to Hawai‘i’s musical legacy. A true son of Maui-Nui-A-Kama, Ikaika gifts this pü‘olo of mele that take you on lyrical journeys through out its pana ‘äina, accompanied by a true feeling of dignity and pride. He venerates those close to him with poetic expressions that are enhanced by a delivery of pure nahenahe. Insomuch that this labor of love presents an invitation to all to sit back, relax and simply “Maliu,” or “Listen and look upon with favor,” his gift of songs.
