“Say Less” is a collection of pop, rock, and folk songs that doesn’t even try to present a unified front. It’s the Spotify playlist you don’t remember making that time you got drunk last summer. It’s a mixtape from high school that you’re embarrassed about, but secretly blast at high volume on the highway at midnight. It’s the contents of that mp3 player you found under your bed, and you thought it was dead, but it still charges, and oh my god I remember that song, play it again.

These songs were written in parking lots, recorded in bedrooms, performed in bars, forgotten, remembered, forgotten again, abandoned, rediscovered, re-recorded in a different bedroom (except for the vocals, which we did in the bathroom because it somehow sounded better), and finally painstakingly laid down one track at a time by a single person in a tiny windowless studio for your enjoyment. Everything you hear on this album is me. The instruments, the vocals, the mixing, the mastering, the crappy art design on the cover - it’s all me. It’s a labor of love and I hope you like it as much as my mother does.
